Sustainability & Impact

Every day, we help businesses divert byproducts, recover valuable resources, and contribute to a thriving circular economy.

Our work keeps materials in use longer, reduces reliance on landfills, and transforms discarded products into usable commodities. We use industry-leading equipment like the Scotts T20 Turbo Separator and the Runi compactor to efficiently separate packaging from product and ensure thorough material recovery and certified destruction.

Since our inception, we have successfully diverted over 35 million pounds of materials from landfills, moving us closer to Kent County’s goal of a 90% diversion rate by 2030.

What We Do

At Perfect Circle Recycling, byproducts aren’t the end—they’re the beginning of something new. By efficiently separating, processing, and redistributing materials, we turn discarded goods into valuable resources, keeping them in circulation instead of buried in landfills.

How Our Services Support Circular Principles

Our T-20 Turbo Separator allows us to cleanly separate organic byproduct from its packaging, ensuring that both components find a new life—whether as recycled materials, compost, biofuel, or animal feed. We also utilize the Runi compactor to reduce packaging volume and maximize the recyclability of recovered materials.

Through responsible recovery and redistribution, we help businesses:

  • Minimize landfill reliance

  • Reduce carbon footprints

  • Create new revenue streams through material resale

Our operations are aligned with key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, and we provide measurable impact reporting to clients. With a growing emphasis on data-driven sustainability, we are enhancing our tracking systems to offer real-time insights on diversion rates, greenhouse gas reductions, and material resale volumes.

Where Materials Go:
Giving New Life to Recovered Resources

Every material has a story. What starts as waste can become the foundation for something new—a second life that benefits industries, communities, and the planet.

Metals (Ferrous & Non-Ferrous)

From scrap to structure: Recovered metals re-enter the supply chain to create cars, appliances, building materials, and consumer electronics—strong, durable, and infinitely recyclable.

Plastics

From packaging to purpose: Plastics find their way into new containers, outdoor furniture, textiles, and even high-performance clothing—reducing reliance on virgin plastic production.

Cardboard & Paper

From boxes to books: Cardboard is reborn as new packaging, shipping materials, or even eco-friendly paper products, keeping forests standing and paper in circulation.

Organics & Food Byproduct

From byproducts to nourishment: Separated food material is repurposed into animal feed, compost for farming, and biofuel for renewable energy, transforming what would have been discarded into sustainable solutions.
